ATLANTIC DASH OCEAN ROWERS; MARINA SPONSORSHIP

We are excited to be sponsoring the first Atlantic Dash Ocean rowing team finishing in Jolly Harbour Marina & Boatyard.  Billy the Rower (as he’s fondly known) came for a location recce in May 2021 and fell in love with Jolly Harbour Marina as a final destination for his personal row, and that of the bigger event happening in a year or so.  Billy and his two crew have already left the Canary Islands and are due to arrive around May 2022 time.  It’s a very interesting philosophy of “adventure for all” and, as such, they are offering an Antiguan team the opportunity to row an ocean and submit applications.   Follow our social channels for more on this as Billy gets closer.

TWO NEW TEAM MEMBERS

Join us in welcoming two new team members to JHMB.  Michael joined the boatyard team as Junior Yard Assistant, in December.  His duties include taking care of the liquid and solid waste, keeping the place clean and tidy, as well as assisting with operations in the yard. You may also find him lending a hand with the dock staff too, as he is very proficient on the water. Hassani a recent graduate from National Sailing Academy, joined our professional dock team in November and seems to be perfect for the position.  He assists clients with their dockage needs, upon arrival and departure as well as keeping the utilities running smoothly.  The dock team work 7 days a week.

We are filling up already with cruisers and other boaters booking their spot on the hard for Summer 2022.  We encourage anyone who wishes to store for the Summer months, to get in touch with our reservations team, sooner rather than later, to avoid disappointment.  The larger cradles have already sold out however we still have a limited amount of small cradles and concrete pits available.  We continue to offer the lateral welding that is accepted by most insurance companies as a secure option through the hurricane season.  Email:  [email protected]

MOORING BUOYS

We have recently upgraded all of our mooring buoys:  helix anchors, new chain and new anchor bolts in the concrete blocks.  They aren’t going anywhere!!
