Jolly Harbour Marina & Boatyard shows patriotism and celebrates 39 years of Antigua & Barbuda’s Independence

What a day!

With the sunshine out in all its glory, the Jolly Harbour Marina & Boatyard team showed pride in their country by taking to all corners of the Marina and showing love to their very own. With different departments showing off their unique talents it was quite an entertainment.

From singing, to dancing and reciting, Jolly Harbour Marina & Boatyard was buzzing today.

Everyone turned up dressed in their colorful dress of Antigua & Barbuda showing national pride and patriotism and being creative; some even had samples of the national dish Fungi & Saltfish – something any Antiguan and visitor would enjoy.

As we know with this whole Covid-19 situation, this did not stop the nationals from celebrating in their own way; the country has now taken things virtual by hosting the famous Calypso competition online.

For people newly visiting our isle by land or sea, November 01st is recognized as our National Day of Independence.

Antigua & Barbuda is usually known for beautiful beaches but there are other hidden treasures to be discovered.

If you are thinking of traveling to the Caribbean – by land or sea – Antigua & Barbuda should be your first choice.
